Thursday and the Weekend

We’ve had some amazing flying these past couple of days.  And, a great weekend ahead.  Join us for a catered dinner, KEGS, and dancing to LIVE MUSIC.  See ya at 7pm in the LZ on Saturday, August 31.   Flight Park members, students, friends and family are welcome to attend.

Labor Day Weekend (and current conditions)


Blowing in around 10 as we speak. Plenty of pilots on launch and in the air.

And come celebrate Labor Day Weekend with us August 31st: Catered dinner of chicken, green beans, potato wedges, coleslaw and cobbler. KEGS and live music! It’s going to be a great one! 7pm for flight park members, students, friends and family.

September 1: Free Clinic: Judgement Training Clinic taught by Gordon Cayce. How safe are you and how to make safe flying decisions on the air and on the ground. 2pm at the Pro Shop.

 Upcoming events:

Saturday 8/24: Classic cookout in the LZ with burgers, dogs, beans and slaw! 7PM EST at the clubhouse. BE THERE!

Sunday 8/25: Free Clinic-Aerotow safety taught by Clifton Bryan. Meet at the South LZ Pavilion at 2pm EST. OR BE SQUARE!

Keenan and Wingman Weekend

What have we been up to? Well, teaching people to fly and getting ready for Wingman Weekend! We’ve had some amazing first flights. Check out the video of Keenan’s first mountain launch. He and his girl friend our college students who came out to fly with us last week. Congratulations Keenan!

And, we’re getting ready for some amazing autumn flying. And our biggest events of the autumn are Wingman Weekend and Halloween! Wingman Weekend is September 28 and September 29. The weekend will be about fun, friendly competition that teams up a Hang 4 pilot with several Hang 2 and 3 pilots. There will be flying and festivities (don’t forget your toga)!
